Autumn 2020 Cool Cocktail


60ml Autumn 2020 Seasonal Gin
45ml Autumn Syrup (see recipe above)
20ml fresh squeezed orange juice (or can substitute for lemon)
1/2 Cup of Fever Tree Spiced Orange Ginger Ale
Wheel of fresh orange


Before you make this cocktail, you’ll need to spend a little time making a deliciously autumnal syrup.


1 cup brown sugar, 3 cinnamon quills, 2 Tbsp orange zest, 1 Tbsp lemon zest, 2 slices of fresh ginger


Combine 1.5 cups of water with brown sugar, cinnamon quills, orange zest, lemon zest and ginger. Slowly bring to the boil, stirring often. Allow to boil for a few minutes until it starts to thicken and reduce heat. Allow to simmer for approx. 10mins until reduced down. For the adventurous ones try adding 1-2 cardamon pods for an added kick! Allow to cool completely before use and store in the fridge for up to three weeks.


Combine gin, syrup and orange juice. Top with ice and the Ginger Ale instead (about half a cup). Garnish with a wheel of fresh orange.
